With our Watercolour Making kit, learn to make your own watercolours from scratch and use them to create art you can truly call your own. The kit includes three colours, River, Rosewood and Amber, which can be combined to create a variety of beautiful and earthy shades.

Watercolour painting as an art form is extremely old - it was used for cave paintings in palaeolithic times. It is an extremely versatile medium allowing for intense or subtle colours, strong shapes or abstract blends, depending on the technique used. It is also very easy to carry around, making it ideal for landscape painting. 

Before the end of the 18th century, artists had to mix their own watercolour using pigments and a binder. While this practice was lengthy, it also gave them incredible control and knowledge over colour theory. There is also a meditative element about the process of mixing paint - a slow and gratifying movement to empty the mind of negativity and fill it with creativity.

Inside the UK:

All our kits include free and fast shipping by a tracked courier, deliveries typically take 1-3 working days to arrive. If they haven't arrived by that time then please do get in touch.

We also offer an expedited next working day shipping service, for which the cut-off time for same day dispatch is 4pm.

All of our orders are delivered by Amazon's fulfillment network, as they are able to offer an incredibly efficient and reliable service, so if your parcel arrives in an Amazon box there's no need to worry!

United States:

All our kits include free shipping to the USA by a tracked courier. Orders to the USA are sent out from our warehouse in the USA so you don't need to worry about customs fees or potential delays.

Standard USA delivery is in 3-5 working days, but there are options to upgrade to faster delivery methods when you check out.

Rest of the world:

We're currently only able to dispatch orders to the UK and USA, however we are currently working on expanding our local warehouse network to enable us to ship to more countries.
