Frequently Asked Questions

What do the kits make and how long does it take?

Our Coffee Roasting Kit contains six sachets of different types of green coffee. Each sachet makes about 3 delicious cups of coffee. The whole process takes about a day, allowing time for the beans to release their Co2 after roasting.

Our Biltong Making Kit makes four batches of 500g of biltong. Each batch will take around 3 hours to cook.

Our Kimchi Making Kit makes two large batches of Kimchi. The whole process takes roughly a week to complete but both batches can be done simultaneously.

Will I need additional ingredients?

The Coffee Roasting Kit does not require any additional ingredients.

The Biltong Making Kit requires 500g lean beef per batch (see instructions for the best cuts to use).

The Kimchi Making Kit requires a few ingredients per batch: 1 Napa cabbage, 7 cloves of garlic, 8g sugar, 2 spring onions, half an onion, 5g ginger and 50g salt.

Are the kits suitable for vegans?

Both the Coffee Roasting Kit and the Kimchi Making Kit are suitable for vegans.

Due to the nature of the kit, our Biltong Making Kit is not recommended for vegans.

Are the kits suitable for children?

Our kits are meant for adults, though they can be used by children aged 10 and older under adult supervision. They will need to be especially careful when using the oven and when cutting ingredients.

Can I send a a kit as a gift?

Yes! Our food and drink kits make excellent gifts for coffee lovers and amateur chefs.

We do not include prices on any of our orders so you can send a kit as a gift without worries.

Unfortunately we cannot offer gift wrap or gift notes at the moment.

What are your delivery options?

We offer free standard delivery (3-5 days) on all orders to the UK.

Expedited shipping (1-2 days) is also available at checkout.
